Leka Roof
A Leka roof is a lightweight replacement tiled conservatory roof system that can be fitted in just 2 – 3 days. Leka Roof System Installation
Step 1
The first step in the Leka Roof System installation process is to add glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) rafters, structural ring beam and ridge to the existing conservatory. GRP is the ideal material because it is not prone to moisture absorption, woodworm, rot and condensation.
Step 2
Secondly, internal Leka sheets are fitted beneath the GRP rafters. 100% waterproof, lightweight and with superior thermal qualities, they help to insulate the roof. The sheets allow for a plaster skim finish so you can paint them as you wish once the installation is complete.
Step 3
Next, Celotex insulation sheets are fitted which provide excellent thermal efficiency keeping the warmth in throughout the colder months. They are BBA certified so you can have peace of mind that we only use the very best materials.
Step 4
Following this, load-bearing insulated outer sheets are installed. The innovative Leka outer sheets provide the perfect alternative to plywood, are lightweight and 100% waterproof.
Step 5
Finally, a high quality Metrotile or Tapco roof is fitted. Choose from a range of finishes to meet your design specification such as slate or concrete tile designs in a selection of colours to match your home.
