Our slate conservatory roofs are solid roof systems that are incorporated into the build stage of your new conservatory. Essentially, a slate roof conservatory is a glazed extension with a traditional roof, meaning you can use it all year round due to its thermal performance.
The Build Process
You choose the design of the main body of your new conservatory. Once the base and windows are fitted, we install a steel frame to support the solid roof system. Timber trusses, felt, battens and insulation are fitted, then the roof is tiled with the slate or tiles of your choice.
It is possible to fit Velux windows, glazed panels or roof lanterns into the roof to allow additional light flow.
Do I need planning permission?
